Though often viewed as a dry or abstract subject, correct grammar forms the foundation of all good writing. In this summer course, students will hone their knowledge of grammar and their ability to apply this knowledge to their own writing. Coursework includes readings on basic grammar concepts, including parts of speech and common errors in student work. Students will then complete quizzes and editing exercises designed to improve their ability to spot mistakes “in the wild.”
