The Age of Reagan

Ronald Reagan has had a tremendous influence on both US politics and American culture, essentially spearheading a change in how we think of government, foreign affairs, religion in politics, economics, and environmentalism. This summer course briefly looks at how Pres. Reagan both led and exemplified this change, with emphasis on connections to modern-day politics and events. An optional media studies extension looks at the Reagan Era through movies, TV episodes, and even advertisements. More information can be found on the instructor's website above.
